About Tristan
Rooted in motherhood, guided by experience
Photography first became meaningful to me when I began traveling and documenting my own life. I found myself returning to those images again and again — not because they were perfect, but because they held memory and emotion in a way words could not.
That realization led me to pursue photography professionally. I spent six years serving couples in the wedding industry, documenting milestone days and learning how to work with intention, structure, and care under pressure. Those years shaped the way I approach every session today.
Over time, my own life began to shift. Becoming a mother changed the way I saw photography. I experienced seasons that deepened my understanding of what it means to hold onto fleeting moments. I began to feel a stronger pull toward documenting motherhood, new life, and the quiet in-between moments of family life.
Today, I focus on maternity, newborn, and family photography because it aligns with who I am in this season. I understand the weight and beauty of these years. I understand the exhaustion, the joy, and the subtle shifts that happen before you realize they’ve passed.
My goal is not simply to take beautiful photographs. It is to create space where mothers feel seen, families feel supported, and children feel free to be themselves. The images we create together are meant to endure — not just as artwork, but as reminders of how this season felt.
A calm, intentional approach
Families often arrive wondering how their children will respond, whether they will feel comfortable, or if the images will truly reflect who they are.
With years of experience behind the camera and a deep respect for this stage of life, I guide each session in a way that feels steady and unhurried. Preparation is thoughtful. Direction is gentle. The focus remains on connection.
This work matters to me because these years matter.
